The end of week 1

Welcome to our new class blog for 2015! We have moved around a bit and are now known as Room 4. We had a short week to start things off and are now getting the hang of being in the senior side of the school. Wish us good luck for this year!

The 1970's School Concert

Over the last 8 weeks we have been practicing our end of year school concert. Each class has been given a decade from the 1920's to the future to create a play about.  This is a show that will blow you away and also give you the memories of that decade. Room 3 got given the 1970's. We have characters such as Forrest Gump, Bruce Lee, 6 million dollar man and of course disco dancing! This will be at the Auroa Community Hall on the 18th of December at 7pm if you can't come at that time come earlier at 12pm. We will also have some Christmas carols that the school will be singing for you to listen to. It will be the best night ever!

Summer Poems

Summer is finally here and we only have a few weeks of school left. Here are some summer poems that the students are working on.

30,000 Hits

Wow! Finally we have reached 30,00 hits on our blog and with 2 weeks to spare in the school year. It's been a long road to where we are at  and hopefully there is a lot more to come. Keep an eye out for lots more great posts.

1970's concert

For the first 8 weeks of term 4 we have been practising hard out for our concert. Our theme is 1970's so we are doing a mix from Forest Gump in Vietnam, to disco dancing. It is a show that will blow you away. The overall theme is decades from 1900 to now!

How to create a pick a path using google docs.

Here is a short video the girls made about creating a pick a path story using google docs. They had a lot of fun making these and it gave their writing an extra dimension. Enjoy!


         

Around the world

Well done to the students in Room 3, who took out the best animation award. We almost won the supreme award and were just beaten by a group of year 8's. Well done to all those involved and here is the winning video
        

The 70's
